CORRESPONDENCE

(To the Editor). Sir. —Re school attendance. I would like to know whether children are entitled to gain prizes tor attendance if they go to school and get their names marked on the roll and are then allowed to go home for the rest of the morning or afternoon. If this is correct it is not fair to others, who, through sickness are compelled to stay at home for a day or two. Thanking you in anticipation.—l am, etc., Parent.
