OWING to ill health and family reasons I have had to give up business as milkman, and have disposed of same to Messrs Newth and Carter. I desire to thank my numerous customers for their generous support during the past three and a-half years, and solicit a continuance of same for my successors, who will take over the business as from February Ist, 1911. IN connection with the above, Messrs Newth and Carter wish to thank their customers for the support accorded them during the past year, and in announcing that they have purchased the business for some years carried on by Mr P. W. Brown, who is giving up on account of ill health, etc., wish to assure the public of Foxton that they will continue to supply clean, rich milk at a reasonable price. Having at present the most up-to-date premises in the district they intend to still further improve by installing a Pasteuriser, so that those who prefer Pasteurised Milk will be able to obtain it, and they hope by supplying only the best milk in the cleanest manner to merit and receive the patronage accorded their predecessor, as well as a continuance of that of their present customers. FOXTON BOROUGH COUNCIL. Applications for the combined position of Poundkeeper and Night-man will be received up to 7.30 p.m. on Monday, 6th February, IQII. Pursuant to Section 8 of “The Local Bodies Loan Act, 1908.” I HEREBY give Notice that the Foxton Borough Council proposes to borrow the sum of £2BOO for the purpose of erecting and furnishing a Town Hall in the Borough of Foxton, and for the purpose of paying the Interest, Sinking Fund and other charges (if any), to strike a special rate of three farthings in the £ on the basis of the unimproved value on all the rateable property in the whole of the Borough of Foxton ; such rate to be an annual recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the first day of July in each and every year during the currency of such loan, or until the loan is paid off.
