KKSCI’ED AFTER ELEVEN AND A HALE HAYS. TAELS, Jan. 24. The collapse of a clay-pit at Vinesvillc, Normandy, entombed two men. The rescuers lowered sixteen loaves, a quantity of soup, fifty quarts of cider, and some tobacco. Then a second collajise occurred, cutting off communication. The resellers worked day and night for eleven and a hall days. The shaft collapsed four times. Eventually the men were rescued.
