ZEALAND RAILWAYS ANNIVERSARY OF WELLINGTON PROVINCE. Holiday Excursion tickets at above fares, available for return until 14th February, 1911, will be obtainable as under (except where ordinary fares are less): — From 20th to 23rd January.—From Wanganui, Waiouru, Foxton, Wellington (both stations), Dannevirke, Greytown, Te Aro, and intermediate stations, to Te Aro, Greytown, Dannevirke, Wellington (both stations), Foxton, Waiouru, Wanganui and intermediate stations, or vice versa. These tickets will be available for break of journey at any station at which the train is timed to stop after 25 miles from issuing station. On 23rd January the usual 12.15 p.m. Palmerston North-Wellington and Q. 25 a.m. Wellington-Palmers-ton North trains will not run. FOXTON RACES AT FOXTON. 2lst and 23rd January, 1911. Trains will run as under: — Saturday, 2ist January, FOR RACECOURSE.—PaImerston North dep 10.0 a.m., Himatangi 10.45 a.m. (Sanson train), and 11.16 a.m. The 10.0 a.m. train from Palmerston North will connect at Longburn with the 6.40 a.m. train ex Paekakariki. FROM RACECOURSE—For Palmerston, Feilding, and Wanganui at 6.20 p.m., and for Sanson at 5-55 P.m. In addition to above trains the 3.10 p.m. Foxton-Palraerston train wall stop at racecourse to set down or take up passengers. Passengers for stations between Palmerston North and Wanganui connect at Palmerston with train leaving there for Wanganui at 8.5 p.m, Monday, 23RD January. FOR RACECOURSE.—PaImerston North dep 9.20, 10.18 (ex Feilding), no a.m., Himatangi 10.21, 10.40 a.m. (Sanson train). The 10.18 a.m. train from Palmerston North will connect at Longburn with the 6.10 a.m. special ex Wellington (Thorndon), and will not stop for passengers at Awapuni or intermediate stations, Longburn to Racecourse. FROM RACECOURSE. For Palmerston North at 6.0 and 6.20 p.m., and for Sanson at 5.40 p.m. Passengers for stations between Palmerston North and Wanganui connect at Palmerston with train leaving there for Wanganui at 8.5 p.m. The 6.0 p.m. train will not stop for passengers after leaving Racecourse. Goods traffic between Thorndon and Palmerston North will be suspended on 23rd January. For full particulars in re fares and train arrangements see handbill. BY ORDER.
