METHODIST CONFERENCE.
Wellington, January 12. The eighteenth annual conference of the Primitive Methodist Church opened to-day. There was a large attendance of delegates Rev G. H. Mann (Geraldine) was elected president, Mr G. H. Stiles (Foxtou) vice-president, and Rev John Southern secretary. The first allotment of stations agreed to yesterday, included the following:—Foxton, Rev, Clover and Mr Maiden ; Feilding, Revs. Sharp, Fowles, and Jones ; Halcombe, Rev. Coatsworth.
