A FALLEN IDOL.
PETER BOWLING’S TESTIMONIAL. Sydney, Dec. 30. The Labour Council received from the Colliery Employees’ Federation a subscription list for a testimonial to Peter Bowling. The list was received in silence, and allowed to lie on the secretary’s table in order that members desiring may subscribe. The Council defeated a motion of censure on the Minister for Labour for allowing the shops' to open on Christmas Eve. J
