DR. COOK AND THE POLE.
New York, Dec. 27. The explorer, Dr. Cook, interviewed, referring to Lieut. Knud Rasmussen’s denial that Dr. Cook reached the Pole, declared that Rasmussen became his enemy because of a snub administered by Captain Bradley. Dr. Cook adds Lieut. Rasmussen’s story is based 011 the Eskimos’ testimony which was gathered second hand.
