FOXTON RACING CLUB.
At a meeting of members of the Foxton Racing Club, held in the Club’s office yesterday afternoon, the following annual report and audited balance-sheet submitted by the Manawatu Racecourse Trustees was adopted:— “The trustees beg to submit the balance-sheet for the year ending March 31st, 1910, duly audited, for the consideration of the meeting, and to report that this balance is available for expenditure on the racecourse reserve, but up to this the Committee ol the Racing Club have not seen their way to make any of the improvements suggested by the trustees. The Club keeps the course and buildings in good order.”
The balance-sheet showed the balance on March 31st, 1910, to be £24 2s 3d. The receipts, made up of rent and interest at Post Office Savings Bank 16s rod, totalled 19s id. Assets: Cash in Post Office Savings Bank, ,£29 8s id. Payments Advertising, 9s ; audit fee, 5s ; balance March 31st, 1910, at Post Office Bank, 8s id (less due chairi| man 3s); total, Liabilities: Due chairman, 3s.
