ON 23RD & 27TH DECEMBER: —The usual 5.35 p.m. Palmerston North-Foxton train will leave Palmerston North at 5.55 p.m. ON 26th DECEMBER, (BOXING DAY).— With the exception of the Wel-lington-Auckland Up and Down Ordinary Express trains, the Welling-ton-Auckland Up Extra Express train, the Wellington-New Plymouth and Wellington - Napier Up and Down Mail trains, the WellingtonWanganui Up and Down Relief Mail trains, the 7.0 a.m. Palmerston North - Wellington, the 4.11 p.m. Wellington - Palmerston North, which will run as usual, the ordinary timetable will be suspended. Other trains, stopping, if required, at all stations, for passengers will run as under : FOR PALMERSTON NORTH. —Foxton dep. 9.0 a.m. FOR FOXTON. Palmerston North dep. 6.20 p.m. PALMERSTON NORTH RACES, 23RD, 26TH, & 27TH DECEMBER. ON 23RD &27TH DECEMBER.— Special Race trains will leave Palmerston North at 10.10, 10.46, IX. IO, and xi. 33 a.m., returning from Racecourse at 5.10, 5.30, 6.0, and 6.15 p.m. ON 26TH DECEMBER, (BOXING DAY).— Special Race trains will leave Palmerston North at 9.55, 10.40, 11.0, 11.18, and 11.33 a.m., returning from Racecourse at 5.10, 5-30, 5-40, 6.0, and 6.5 p.m. The 9.0 a.m. train from Foxton to Palmerston North will run via the Racecourse. FARES:—Palmerston North to Racecourse, return 2s 6d, irrespec- I tive of class, including admission to course, available for day of issue only. Single fare, Racecourse to Palmerston North 9d. Tickets as above may be obtained at Wellington, Foxton and Palmerston North, or from Guards on trains. ASHHURST RACES, 28th DECEMBER. The usual 5.35 p.m. Palmerston North-Foxton train will not leave Palmerston North until 7.1 S P-m----(after arrival of special from Ashhurst), Foxton arr. 8.45 p.m. Special passenger trains will run as under: — FOR ASHHURST.—Palmerston North dep. 9.40, 11.0 a.m., return trains leaving Ashhurst at 6.7 and 6,25 p.m. Goods traffic will be suspended on 26th December and 2nd January.
