GOOD GRAZING LAND.
On Saturday next Messrs Abraham and Williams, Etd., will sell by public auction at their rooms Rangitikei Street, 1370 acres of good land close to Foxton. Five sections on the Foxton-Eevin road comprising 10, 12, 44, 162 and 197 acres consist of very rich swamp land of great carrying capacity. Three sections of 36, 40 and 60 acres are immediately opposite the Foxton racecourse, whilst at the back of these are three sections of 243, 257 and 285 acres respectively. These six sections have been used by the owners for many years for pastoralpurposes. The whole property is particularly fortunate in-as-much as it has excellent road frontage. Some of the sections are immediately adjoining the borough bouudary and whilst they escape the borough rates they will in the near future lend themselves to sub-division for residential sites. Foxton is now coming in to its own, and with the establishment of a Harbour Board, grading stores etc., its future prosperity is assured Situated on a fine river, easily accessible to cargo carrying steamers it is now the main source of supply for Palmerston North and surrounding districts. At the Heads quite a town has sprung up where Palmerston North residents have built houses. Everything points to Foxton assuming more local importance in the near future, and investors and those who desire to establish homes are recommended to give this property more than passing consideration. The terms are very easy and arrangements have been made to give buyers possession of their purchases onjjanuary 16th, 1911. Plans and full particulars, can be had on application to the auctioneers or Messrs Hankins and Fitzherbert, solicitors, Palmerston North.
