Nomination 20s, acceptance 20s. To start at 5.20 p.m. Distance, 1 mile. Races 3, 6 and 8 are open to all horses. The rest are for hacks only. Nominations, Weights and Acceptances. NOMINATIONS for all events (except Trial Hack Race, Ist day, and Maiden Hack Scurry, 2nd day), close with the Secretary, at Foxton, on Friday, January 6th, 1911, at 9 p.m. WEIGHTS will be declared on or about January nth. ACCEPTANCES for the first day and entries for the Trial Hack Race, Ist day, and Maiden Hack Scurry, 2nd day. close on Wednesday, January 18th, at 9 p.m. WEIGHTS for the Second Day’s races will be declared on Saturday, January 21st, at about 8 p.m. ACCEPTANCES close same evening at 9.30 o’clock. Entries by telegraph must be confirmed at earliest opportunity, and name of trainer given, also colours of rider. No horse will be allowed to start whose fees are unpaid. The stewards reserve the right to alter the date or time for receiving nominations and acceptances as they may deem fit. Penalties. Flat Races: The winner of any flat race after the declaration of weights to carry a penalty of lOlbs, and of any additional race a further penalty of 7lbs. Horses handicapped at Bst lolb, or over, to carry half the above penalties. The winner of any hurdle race after the declaration of weights to carry a penalty of lOlbs in the hurdle race, and of any additional race a further penalty of 7lbs, or if the handicapper deems fit he may increase the penalties.
