THE FOXTON AMATEURS.
The local amateurs have booked the Public Hall for January 2nd and both race nights, January 21st and 23rd. On January 2nd they will stage the three-act comedy “The Brixton Burglary,” and on the other two nights the three act drama “The Serpent on the Hearth” will be produced. Both these plays are to be put into active rehearsal immediately. The following are the casts of characters : The Brixton Burglary: Septimus Pontifex, Mr F. D. Whibley; Mr Green, Mr A. McCall; James, Imrie ; Inspector, Dr. Adams ; Policeman Xroooi, Mr W. E. Bullard ; Policeman, Mr R. Bright; Petunia, Miss Kempton; Mfllicent Poutifex, Miss Levett ; Alicia Green, Mrs Teviotdale ; Jessie Green, Miss M. Levett. The Serpent on the Hearth: Sir Simeon Sykes, Mr A. J. Imrie ; Captain Trevor, Mr F. D. Whibley; Claude Ruby, Mr A. McCall; Dr. Mildmay, Mr A. H. Boyes; Barak Maule, Dr. Adams; Mark Measley, ; Slobberiboski, Mr W. E- Bullard ; Huggins, Mr A. J.
