IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by “The Local Bodies Loans Act, 1908,” the Foxton Borough Council hereby resolves as follows : That for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges o* a loan of £[ 1,000, authorised to be raised by the Foxton Borough Council under the above mentioned Act, for the purchase and extension of the Foxton Gas Works, the said Foxton Borough Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of 2 pence and 15-i6ths of a penny upon the rateable value of all the rateable property comprised in the whole of the Borough of Foxton, and that such special rate shall be an annual re-curring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the first day of July in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of twentyone years, or until the loan is fully paid off. A meeting of the Council to confirm the above Special Order will be held on Monday, 14th November, at 7.33 p.m., in the Council Chamber Main Street.
