A PERTH MYSTERY.

YOUNG WOMAN DISAPPEARS. A GRUESOME FIND. Pekth, Oct. 19. There is considerable mystery over the disappearance of a young woman named Ethel Harris five months ago. She lived with a man named Alfred Smart, who is now in gaol waiting his trial on a charge of bigamy. The girl disappeared just prior to Smart’s marriage to another woman . The police, while digging the yard at the house where Smart lived, found articles of clothing worn by the missing girl. They also discovered an iron bar with hair attached aud other articles. Smart says Harris left him a week before his marriage. The case is awakening tremendous interest.
