The Rev, D. C. Bates wires at follows at noon to-day : Strong to gale westerly winds; expect unsettled and cloudy weather ; rain probable and river flooded; glass fall slowly, but there are indications for glass rise after 24 hours. Tides high, sea moderate, but sea increasing after 16 hours.
