HAMILTON’S SCARLET TROUBADOURS.
The above company will make their first appearance in the Public Hall, Foxton, on Thursday night next, September 29th. This company is a strong one, consisting of fourteen performers, all said to be possessed of wonderful talent. The costumes are very pretty, and the choruses and marches cleverly thought out. Notable among the singers is Master Hamilton, a boy with a beautiful voice; others are Miss Zella Wray ford, Miss Iris Hamilton, Tittle Olive, Miss Stella Kelly and Miss Trixie Kelly, all said to be sweet singers of rare ability. The Kelly sisters in their speciality song “ Bayon, JM create a furore, while Highland dancing by Miss Daphne and others of the company should be fully appreciated. The whole will conclude with a butterfly dance by four little girls, under the direction of Mr A. Hamilton.
