ACCIDENTS AND FATALITIES.

At Karaka Bay, Wellington, on Sunday, a young man named Albert Williams was drowned. In attempting to get into a dinghy it overturned and struck the young fellow on the head. An old man, named Frank Howard, was found dead on the Carrick range, Dunedin, on Sunday. A man named Johansen was killed while bush-felling at Te Kuiti on Saturday. John McCormack, aged 36, employed on public works at Gatlins, was killed as the result of a blasting accident. James Charles Barron fell while painting a Wellington hotel, and died subsequently in the hospital. Deceased was 55 years ot age.
