CYCLING.

The Goulbuni-Sydney road race resulted as follows : Kirkham (Victoria), hdcp. 43sec, r; Wilson (Victoria), 55sec, 2 ; Downey (New South Wales), 3550 c. 3. The winner’s time was 6hrs 47rain. O'Shea (New Zealand) was ninth, his riding time being 6hrs 54tnin 37sec. Kirkham, the winner, also put un the fastest time for the course. He won by two seconds. Hamm (New Zealand) fell and was severely injured, having to be conveyed to the Hospital.
