A CRUISE ROUND THE WORLD.
Auckland, September 5. The nine-ton yawl Pandora, from Bunbury, West Australia, which is on a cruise round the world, arrived at this port this afternoon, alter a very rough trip across the Tasman Sea. From this port she will go to Pitcairn and Plaster Islands. From there she will go to Juan Ferandez, some 500 miles across the coast of South America. Then she will voyage around Cape Horn, being the first vessel of this size to undertake such a perilous cruise. From Cape Horn a course will be steered to Port Stanley, thence on to Tristan U’Acunha. From there it is hoped to strike the north-east trades. St. Helena will be visited, and then New York. The vessel will then proceed to London, returning by way of the Cape of Good Hope.
