EUCHARISTIC CONGRESS.

Ottawa, September 5. Members of the Eucharistic Congress gave the Eucharists an enthusiastic welcome at Montreal. It is expected that half a million people will witness Cardinal Vanutelli carrying the sacred host from the Cathedral of Notre Dame next Sunday. It will be a gorgeous spectacle. The streets will be spanned by forty triumphal arches. Two hundred and fifty members of the Catholic Club of New York will form Cardinal Vanutelli’s guard of honour, and two hundred and fifty prelates in the robes of their Orders will follow Cardinal Vanutelli. Music at mass will be rendered by three thousand voices.
