IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it by “The Municipal Corporations Act, 1908,” and “The Local Bodies Loans Act, 1908,” and any Acts amending the same respectively and all other powers enabling it in that behalf; The Foxton Borough Council hereby gives public notice that it proposes to raise a special loan of £9OOO for the purchase of the Foxton Gas Works as a going concern and £2OOO for additions to and extension of the same, making a total of £II,OOO, and to make an annually - recurring special rate of 2 15-lbths of a penny in the pound on the unimproved value of all rateable property in the said borough of Foxton, as security, and for the purpose of providing for the interest at 5 per cent, per annum, and sinking fund in connection with such loan.
