BIGAMY.

Auckland, August 12. In the Supreme Court, before Mr Justice Edwards, Mary Josephine Malam, pleading guilty to bigamy at Rotorua, was ordered to come up for sentence when called on. A pitiful tale of her husband's cruelty was told by Mr Earl, who appeared on her behalf. He had not provided her with a proper home, and ended by ordering her away. She worked as a waitress in Rotorua where she married again.
