PUBLIC NOTICE. rjIHAT in pursuance and exercise JL of the powers vested in in it that behalf by section 274 of “The Municipal Corporations Act, 1908,” “The Local Bodies Loans Act, 1908,” and all other powers enabling it in that behalf, the Foxton Borough Council hereby resolves as follows : To raise a loan of £9OOO for the purchase of the Foxton Gas Works as a going concern and £2OOO for additions to and extension of the same, in all £II,OOO. And that for the purpose of providing the interest and sinking fund on a loan of £ll,ooo at 5 per cent, per annum, the Council propose to strike a special rate of 2 !5-l6ths of a penny in the £ on the unimproved value of all the rateable property in the borough of Foxton; and that the first year’s interest and cost of raising the loan to be paid out o f loan.
