THE CRIPPEN SENSATION.

London, July 27. The Daily Express states that the Canadian-Pacific Railway Company sent a wireless message to the steamer Montrose, on board which, under arrest, are two persons, said to be Crippen (the supposed murderer of his wife in Camden Road, Loudon) and the girl Leneve, ordering the vessel to proceed slowly to Cape Race (Newfoundland), across the Gulf, and up the St- Lawrence River to Montreal, to enable the Laurentic, carrying Detective Inspector Dew, of Scotland Yard, and which is two days behind the Montrose, to arrive at Montreal first. The captain on the Montrose has been specially warned to keep watch on the accused persons to prevent any attempt at suicide. London, July 28. The Montrose in mid-ocean has reported by wireless that all is well. The Daily Chronicle states that the Laurentic is ahead of the Montrose. A steward of the latter vessel frequently played billiards at a public-house in the vicinity of Hill Drop Crescent, Camden, and must have seen Crippen, who was a habitual customer there. Scotland Yard was in wireless communication with Detective-In-spector Drew last night. Pressman from all parts of the world are assembled at Premouski waiting for the arrival of the Montrose. The Laurentic has passed Belle Isle.
