The youths King and Dean pleaded gililty at the Wellington Magistrate’s Court on Thursday to a charge of firing a revolver at a Chinese gardener at Paraparamu, and threatening to rob him. They were committed to the Supreme Court for sentence. One of the accused said their action was the result of reading ‘ ‘ Deadwood Dick ” literature, and the reports of the Powelka case.
