TWO MEN SENT ,T 0 GAOL.
Dunedin, July 15
Charges arising out of last Saturday night’s disturbances came before Mr Bartholomew, S.M., in the City Police Court to-day. The case against Charles Graham, charged with assaulting Sergeant Eccles and Constable Sweeney, and also with assaulting Constable Fox, was withdrawn. John Wilson was fined ss, or twenty-four hours’ imprisonment, for drunkenness, sentenced to one month’s imprisonment for obscene language, and to two months for resisting the police, the sentences to be concurrent. David Wilson was sentenced to one month’s imprisonment for obscene language, and to two months on each of the other charges, the sentences to be concurrent.
