BALDWIN’S MAHATMA COMPANY.
This popular company of entertainers will open at the Foxton Public Hall on Thursday next, July 2 ist. The public are promised an evening’s enjoyment of exceptional merit. The play is headed by Mora, the only original white Mahatma, who has just concluded a successful season at the principal theatres ol the Dominion. The Wellington press were unanimous in their praise of the gifted lady, who possesses remarkable clairvoyant powers. Anyone desirous of testing the lady’s ability may with a question on love, racing, business speculations, absent Mends, etc., and it is correctly answered. Ko Ko, the lady Japanese wonder-worker, is responsible for a pretty scene entitled “A Night in Japan,” a special feature of this act being some clever and artistic pictures in different coloured sand. Dr Rowe will give the latest novelties in magic, obtained during his recent visit to England and America, included in which is “The Mysterious Cross,” “How Gamblers Win,” etc. Miss Beatrice Foy will be heard in some popular concert and operatic vocal numbers. The musical arrangements are in the capable bands ot Mr A. E. Britz. Popular prices will be charged.
