The monthly sitting of the Magistrate’s Court was held before Mr A. D, Tomson S.M., yesterday morning, when judgment was entered up in the following undefended civil cases : Flaxmills Employees’ Union v. Michael O’Reilly, claim £ 1 5s yd, costs 13s; G. T. Woodroofe v. E. D. and J. Webb, ns 1 id, costs 13s ; same v. J. Broad, £6 7s 3d, costs 23s 6d ; Commissioner of Taxes v. C. F. and W. S. Carter, /10 6s 3d, costs £1 is; A. W. Bradley v. W. Young, costs 1 os; same v. Wi Hemera, £4. ss, costs 17s
