ANOTHER WIN FOR ALL BLACKS. MATCH AGAINST QUEENSLAND. Brisbane, June 18. The weather was dull and cool for the New Zealand-Queensland match. Queensland won the toss, and Baton kicked off. A scrum was formed in the Queensland corner, from which the ball was passed out. The New Zealanders then concentrated their forces, and Francis, dribbling over the line, fell on the ball and scored. Queensland 0 During the remainder of the first half Queensland was on the defensive. The visitors were repeatedly on the line, and the local men had many times to force down to save a score.
The New Zealanders were playing splendidly, and made few mistakes, though forward passes a couple of times prevented the visitors obtaining what looked like easy tries.

A penalty for offside gave Stanley a chance, but the kick was mulled, and the game flowed down the field. Murphy then secured and broke through the pack, but was opposed and passed to M’Cabe, who was too far back, and the opportunity was lost.
The local men were now playing better than in the first spell, and held the visitors to their own ground. M’Cabe failed to accept the ball, which bounded to Mitchinsou, who made off down the line. He was tackled, and passed forward, and the advantage was lost.
Shortly afterwards Burns accepted the ball from the toe of an opponent, and bolted. He passed to Mitchinson, who, in tnrn, transferred to Francis. The latter went along the line like a streak and scored, O’Leary converting. New Zealand 19
