MUNICIPAL COAL YARD.
[to the editor.] Sir. —They say "open confession is good for the soul.” I am therefore very pleased to note that Cr Robinson, after a heavy consultation Jwith himself, recognises the truth of the old adge he quotes ‘‘ A man who is his own lawyer has a fool fora client.” This was one of the main reasons it was unnecessary for me to reply to his assertions or statements re a municipal coal yard ; but as he evidently considers these statements worth answering, I have much pleasure in offering a prize of five shillings to the boy or girl under 12 years (attending the Foxton School) who favours you with the best reply to his statements. Perhaps by that time he will have been able to grasp the main points of my challenge. Yours etc., R, McMurray.
