MASONIC.
The Installation of W.M. and Investiture of Officers of Lodge Te Awahou, took place in the Masonic Hall on Tuesday evening last. Brethren from a number of sister lodges were present. The ceremony was performed by R. Wor. J. A. Moncrieff, Prov. G.M., assisted by R, Wor. Bro. Seaton, G.D.C., and other wor. brethren. After the ceremony a banquet was held in the lower hall when the usual loyal and Masonic toasts were honoured. Other matters of a festive character were abandoned by reason of the late King’s death. The catering was capably carried out by Bro. Dustin, of Palmerston North. The following is a list of the officers invested : W.M., Bro. M. E. Perreau; 1.P.M., Wor. Bro. Hornblow ; Chaplain, Wor. Bro. Stewart; D.C., Wor. Bro. E. Healey; S.W., Bro. Bradley; J.W., Bro. Senior ; secretary, Bro. A. J. Kellovv ; treasurer, Bro. M. H. Walker ; S.D., Bro Bullard ; J.D., Bro, J. Ross ; I. Bro. A. J. Gibbs ; tyler, Bro. J. Gillies; auditors, Wor. Bro. Clemett and Bro. J. Ross. The music was provided by Bro. Naylor.
