lu a bitter article, the Vossische Zeitung describes the Persian policy of Britain and Russia as an attempt to hem in Germany commerciaily. The paper asks t—- “ If, at the present moment, at any point in the world, these two Powers believe themselves able to force us to bow to their dictation, shall we recognise this condition of things as existing for all time ? ’ ’
