The tenants of Hilmartin Manor, Corsham, and Hartham Park, Caine, Baron Islington’s two country estates in Wiltshire, have made him presentations on the occasion of his departure for New Zealand.

Barou Islington, replying, stated that his recent experiences in the West Indies and Canada had brought him in close connection with Imperial problems with which he would be so closely associated in the future. He hoped to take an active share in strengthening the Imperial ties which the people of New Zealand were equally desirous of strengthening. _
