A MOTHER'S DISCOVERY.

DIVORCE COURT SEQUEL. Perth, April 28. As the result of divorce proceedings in England in 1904, an Englishwoman, Mrs Hawkes, secured an order ot the Court giving her custody of her two children. From the date of the trial her husband and children disappeared and the mother remained in ignorance ot theirwhereabouts till a few weeks ago, when she learned that they were in Western Australia.

Mrs Hawkes arrived by the mail boat this week, and legal machinery was put in motion to establish her claims. The mother met her children to-day to-day for the first time for six years.
