PHIL WALSH DRAMATIC COMPANY.
TO-NIGHT. At the Public Hall to-night “A Californian Romance” will be staged by the popular Phil Walsh Dramatic Company. This play was the “mascotte” play of the company’s recent Auckland season and was most favourably commented upon by the Auckland press. “The Romance” portrays life in California and tells a story of heart thrilling interest, pulsating with human passion, ripples of sparkling wit and humour turn the drama into comedy and laughter follows tears as sunshine after rain. The company’s cast of characters is a strong one, with Miss Kva Marius Paigue and Mr
Phil Walsh in the leading roles and are supporeed by old favourites v and new artists. On Monday night, the last night of the season, Robertson’s comedy - drama ‘‘A Drunkard’s Daughter” will be staged. As this will be the last appearance of the company for some considerable time there should be a good house to-night to witness ‘‘A Californian Romance.”
