FOXTON HARBOUR BOARD.

An ordinary meeting of the Harbour Board will be held on Monday, and May, at the Council Chambers, Foxton, at 7.45 p.ra. The business of the evening will be general, and also to deal with an application from the West Coast S.S. Trading Company. Mr Henaessy has given notice that he intends to move In reference to the following resolution passed at a meeting on 22 nd November, 1909, viz : —That this Board, acting on the suggestion of the Hon. Mr Millar when in Foxton, do now ask the Minister if he will favourably consider the purchase by the Board of the wharf now in use. (2) If the Minister agrees to this proposal, will he state in what way the price is to be arrived at, whether by arbitration or valuation, and also what terms he would agree for payment of same. That that part of the resolution after the words “ now in use ” be rescinded.
