FOOTBALL.

A meeting of the B'oxton Rugby Sub-Union was held at Rougotea on Tuesday evening. Delegates were present from the Rougotea, Albion and Awahou Clubs. After some formal business had been transacted, it was decided to adjourn the meeting until Thursday, April 28th, at Fox ton, and in the meantime to approach the Manawatu Union, and, if necessary, the New Zealand Union, iu reference to the enforcement of the Sub-Union’s boundaries as laid down by the Manawatu Union at the end of last season.

Yesterday afternoon a match was played on the school ground between teams representing the school old boys and the school. The game was a most interesting one, and resulted iu a win for the old boys by 19 points to 14. Mr Gordon refereed.
