ANOTHER PALMERSTON FIRE.

Palmerston, Yesterday

Another outbreak of fire occurred at 6 o’clock this morning, when a 10 - roomed house in Ruahiue Street, owned by Mr Walther, of Walther and Yortt, was totally destroyed. When the brigade arrived on the scene they found there was no water available, and simply had to let the lire burn itself out. Little or nothing was saved. The insurances were all in the South British Office, and were as follows : —House, ,£SOO ; outbuildings, ,£25 ; furniture, ; piano, The origin of the fire is unknown.
