BOWLING CLUB

A meeting of the Foxlon Bowling Club was held in the Council Chamber last evening. Mr Hornblow presided.

The action of the sub-committee in acquiring the Borough reserve at the corner of the Avenue and Russell Street for a green was confirmed.

Messrs Stiles, Heunessy and Rimmer were appointed trustees of the Club.

It was decided to push vigorously on with the green, the matter being left in the hands of the committee.
