Bkkun, March 17

Herr Holhveg, Chancellor, speaking in the Reichstag during a debate on the mining concessions in Morocco, made a remarkably direct appeal to every section of the House to place the foreign policy above party, and to unanimously support the Government on all questions affecting Germany’s position in the world. A Bill is ready for introduction in the Reichstag, combining the seven existing industrial insurance laws into one, increasing the State contributions, and extending and reorganising the system.
