BODY FOUND

Wanganui, March 6

The body of Geo. Laurent, the Mexican haslf-caste, who is supposed to have been the perpetrator of the attempt to blow up the Upokongaro Hotel 011 Wednesday morning last, was discovered in the river about a mile below Upokongaro yesterday morning. From clues left behind him the police have all long been strongly of the opinion that he committed suicide by drowning, and have been dragging the river constantly ever since.
