Wiritoa Hack Handicap.— King’s Prize 1, John 2, Bismarck 3Flying Handicap. —North East 1, Tumut 2, Boanerges 3. THE FOXTON FRACAS. The Wanganui Metropolitan Club on Wednesday night reviewed the facts in connection with the farcas which occurred in the jockeys’ room on the occasion ot the local club’s recent meeting, and as an outcome of which it will be remembered the Foxton stewards fined C. O’Neill, V. O’Neill, W. Young, and A, Atwood £,5 each for participation in the disturbance. C. O’Neill appealed to the Metropolitan Club against the decision of the Foxton stewards. The Metropolitan Club decided to review the evidence and the persons were summoned to attend the meeting on Tuesday night. C O’Neill, W. Young and A. Atwood attended but V. O’Neill did not put in an appearance, and the committee decided to increase the fine of ,£5 imposed on him by the Foxton Stewards to ,£2O. As a result of the enquiries made W. Young’s license was suspended during the pleasure of the Club, the treatment meted out by the local stewards to C. O’Neill and Atwood, fines of £5 each, was upheld.
