FOXTON CRICKET ASSOCIATION.
A meeting of the Foxton Cricket Association was held in Messrs Fowler and Gordon's office last night. Present: Messrs L. K. Reade (chairman), A. McCall, P. T. Robinson, W. M. Gordon and W. S. Stewart (secretary). The Secretary explained that owing to Mr Baillie being unable to again visit Foxton, the question of tendering him a send-off had to be abandoned, but a suitably inscribed pendant bad been purchased and forwarded on to him. The following fixtures w r ere drawn up for the third round of the competition. March 9th, Himatangi v. United at Foxtou ; March x6th, United v. Foxton at Foxtou ; April 6th, Himatangi v. Foxtou at Himatangi.
Correspondence was read from the Shannon Club in reference to a match either at Shannon or Foxtou and it was decided to reply suggesting March 12th, at Foxtou.
Messrs Reade, Robinson and Gordon were appointed a selection committee for teams to represent the Foxton' Association in outside matches.
