DOCTOR MOTORIST FINED.

Dunedin, February 28,

At the Police Court to-day, Dr. Riley was charged with motoring over a prohibited road in the Taieri County when proceeding to an urgent case. After argument, the magistrate said the question to be considered was whether the defendant was justified on the ground of urgency in breaking the by-law. He could not say he was, and therefore he convicted defendant, and fined him one shilling.
