SEXUAL OFFENDERS.
Auckland, Feb. 17. At the Supreme Court to-day two severe sentences were passed upon sexual offenders.
Horace Wilson, for indecent assault on two children, was sentenced to five years’ imprisonment with hard labour, He was also ordered to receive a flogging of ten lashes.
A Maori named Hone Tareha, charged with an offence against a girl under sixteen years of age, was also sentenced to five years’ imprisonment.
