TREASURER’S REPORT.
The Borough Treasurer’s statement submitted at last night’s Council meeting, was as follows : Since the last monthly meeting of the Council I have paid into the district fund account the sum of balances this day were; District fund account ,£207 15s 3d, cemetery account £j 16s 6d (both in credit), while the balances of the various separate accounts are as follows : —General account, 15s 3d ; cemetery account, £6 4s ; sanitation account, .£8 4s 6d ; interest account, ,£l3 19s rod, all in credit, while the library account, £3° 6s 4d, and reserves account, £4O 2s yd, are at debit. lam proud of being able to say that I have again, and for the eighth year in succession collected every penny of the rates —absolutely nothing has been written off for eight years.
