MORE RIGHT.

[TO THE EDITOR.] Sir,— On behalf of a number of gas consumers, I would respectfully ask the Mayor in his capacity as one of the Foxton Gas Proprietary, to use his influence to give us a little more light than we got last night. We are now paying considerably more for our lighting than we did when we used kerosene, but I question whether the light is more satisfactory. I don't want to see the proprietory lose in dividends, but unless lliere is an improvement several of ns will go back to “ the light of other days.” Thanking you in anticipation, —I am, etc., More Fight.
