WEDDING BELLS.
PEARCE—HOWE
At All Saints’ Church, Foxton, on Wednesday last, Mr Claude Francis Pearce, second son of Mr William Pearce, of Wiltshire, England, was united in matrimony to Miss Hilda Fjmily, eldest daughter of the late Mr Rowland Howe, and of Mrs F. R. Cock burn, of Rougotea, and grand-daughter of Mrs Edwards, of Moutoa. The ceremony was performed by the vicar, the Rev. G. Yonug-Woodvvard. The bride’s dress was of white embroidered muslin, with picture hat to match. She was attended by her sister, Miss Ruby Howe, who was attired in white muslin and white picture hat to match. After the ceremony, the party partook of afternoon tea at Mr Perreau’s rooms,, where the usual happy speeches were made, and good wishes expressed. Mr and Mrs Pearce were subsequently driven to Shannon, where the express train was caught lor Napier, at which place the honeymoon will be spent. The bride’s travelling costume was a brown tailor-made, with hat to match.
