Holiday excursion TICKETS, available for return until 15th February, 1910, will be obtainable as under (except where ordinary fares are less) : On 20th, 21st and 22nd January. —From Wanganui, Waiouru, Foxton, Wellington (both stations) Dannevirke, Greytown, Te Aro, and intermediate stations to Te Aro, Greytown, Dannevirke, Wellington (both stations), Foxton, Waiouru, Wanganui and intermediate stations, or vice versa. On 24th January.—From Feilding, Himitangi and intermediate stations to Foxton (except where ordinary fares are less). These tickets will be available for break of journey at any station at which the train is timed to stop after 25 miles from issuing station. On 22nd January the usual 1.5 p.m., Palmerston North-Welling-ton and 7.38 a.m., WellingtonPalmerston North trains will not run. FOXTON RACES AT FOXTON, 22nd and 24th January, 1910. Trains will run as under : SATURDAY, 22nd JANUARY. 1910. FOR RACECOURSE, Palmerston North dep. 9 20 and 10.18 (ex Feilding) a.m., 12.0 noon, Himatangi 10.21, 10.40 a.m. (Sanson train) ;.6 p.m. The 10.18 a.m. train from Palmerston North will connect at Lougburn with the 6.10 a.m. special ex Wellington (Thorndon) and will not stop for passengers at Awapuni or at intermediate stations Longburn to Racecourse. FROM RACECOURSE—For Palmerston North at 6.0 and 6,20 p.m., and for Sanson at 5.40 p.m. Passengers for stations between Palmerston North and Wanganui connect at Palmerston with train leaving there for Wanganui at 7.15 p.m. The 6,0 p.m. train will NOT STOP FOR PASSENGERS after leaving Racecourse. MONDAY, 24th JANUARY, 1910. FOR RACECOURSE- Palmerston North dep. 10.15 a.m., Himatangi 10.45 a - ra - (Sanson train) and 11.22 a.m. The 10.15 a.m. train from Palmerston North will connect at Longburn with the 6.40 a.m. train ex Paekakariki. FROM RACECOURSE —For Palmerston at 6.20 p.m-, and for Sanson at 5.55 p.m. In addition to above trains, the 9 a.m. Palmerston North-Foxton and 3.10 p.m. Foxton Palmerston North trains will stop at Racecourse to set down or take up passengers. Passengers for stations between Palmerston North and Wanganui connect at Palmerston with train leaving there for Wanganui at 8,5 p.m. Goods traffic between Thorndon and Palmerston North will be suspended on 22nd January.
