The Manawatu Herald. Saturday, January 8, 1910. BOWLING CLUB.

We congratulate the promoters of the uewly-tormed Bowling Club on the successful issue of last night’s meeting. It is safe to predict that the gentlemen who have t he affair in hand will leave no stone unturned to put the club on a sound footing. We hope they will receive the hearty co-opera-tion of their fellow townsmen in order to ensure complete success. Such institutions, not only help the town forward, but do much to foster a more sociable feeling among citizens.
